Here is my confession; I love pea coats for winter. Where I live the weather gets quite cold and a nice wool pea coat is perfect for not only staying warm but staying fashionable as well.
My new favorite coat for this winter is my red one. I actually got the coat last year but didn’t wear it at all because I bought it towards the end of the season and I was also pregnant at the time and it wouldn’t close over my tummy.
This winter I will be rocking my red pea coat like no one’s business.
If you are looking for a red pea coat for women here are some great options I came across:
|Anne Klein Pea Coat||Chaps Pea Coat||London Fog Pea Coat|
What I love about this women’s pea coat is that it goes with so many different outfits. Although some women may not like the boldness of the red it can definitely still be worn with a variety of outfits and is something different than just your usual grey or black pea coat.
Your red peacoat can be worn with jeans and boots as well as a black dress. It works for both casual and dressier attire but probably wouldn’t work with a ball gown or fancier cocktail dress. For that I would recommend you get a nice evening coat or a warm shawl you can wrap around yourself.
I do have the basic black and camel colored pea coat as well, but this year I am definitely mixing it up more with my red pea coat. It’s perfect on days when you need that little pop of color because everything around you is white with snow (I’m not a snow person at all and the thought of it being here soon makes me ill). Or to add some more interest to a black dress or black dress pants. My red coat will go perfect with my leopard infinity scarf!
Do you have a red pea coat or any type of pea coat that you like to wear in winter?
