A hot summer fashion trend this year is chevron maxi skirts. Maxi skirts have been quite popular for quite some time but this summer you are going to be seeing a lot of the chevron or striped pattern.
The nice thing about this fashion trend is that you can find several different skirts in all sorts of different color combinations. This means you can follow this trend and not have to look just like everyone else.
Here are some cute chevron maxi skirts I came across while shopping.
I actually found some really cute maxi skirts with different chevron patterns at Amazon.com. They actually look just like the ones I have seen being sold by other online boutiques for a lot more. Here are two options to consider:
Women’s Multi Color Chevron Print Maxi Skirts (approximately $15-$25 depending on style and size). There are over 12 different chevron prints to choose from and they come in sizes small to xlarge.
Chevron and Aztec Printed Full Maxi Skirts (approximately $15). There are over 30 different prints to choose from including lots of chevron prints as well as Aztec prints. They come in sizes small to large.

Styling Tips for Chevron Maxi Skirts
Putting together an outfit with this type of skirt is actually quite simple. They are very versatile and can be styled several different ways.
If you want to keep it super casual, then a plain tank top or maybe one with a few embellishments such as lace or flower appliqué is a great choice. You can pair the outfit with some cute flip flop sandals or with a pair of flats. You can even make it a little dressier and add a cute pair of wedges, especially if you are a shorter gal and need the height because of the long skirt.
You can also dress the skirt up a little more with a button up sleeveless blouse tucked in or a lacy shirt that adds some more detail to the outfit. Add in a pair of high heeled sandals or a wedge sandal and you have a beautiful look for something a little dressier such as an outdoor wedding or a dinner out on the town.
What I like about these skirts and maxi skirts in general is that you don’t have to be a size 2 to be able to pull them off. These skirts are also very modest which means they can be worn to a variety of places from church on Sunday to a backyard BBQ. You can even dress them up a bit and wear them to the office if you more of a casual dress code.
